3D Modelling quote
When 3D scanning is unavailable, to create a 3D model of a mechanical part we can utilize technical drawings and basic technical data (such as hand measured required dimensions) delivered through a presented form. Figurines and other decorative models are created by basing on concept arts, real life inspirations and details notes given in the form. Service valuation depends on:
- Estimated amount of workhours – in case of exceeding the estimated time, service cost does not increase;
- Necessity of parts separation for printing process – some figurines will require limbs and accessory separation, which increases work time needed and thus service cost;
- Amount of small details;
- Amount of work left for open interpretation – more detailed model with less detailed specification equals higher price;
- Multiple versions of same model are treated as separate services, If the range of changes is not limited to minor differences.
Quote isn’t affected by model size nor later fixes, as long as the fixes do not change basis of the created item and do not affect it’s functionality or original visual concept of the project in a pronounced way.
