3D scan
3D scan provides many benefits – it allows for preserving and archiving existing objects in digital form, which is particularly useful for historical reconstructions or creating backup copies for unique components. Additionally, 3D scanning enables analysis and precise measurement of geometric dimensions, which is invaluable for designing and manufacturing new parts with complex geometries.
We offer 3D scan of objects ranging in size from 30x30x30mm up to 1200x1200x1200mm. Our use of a structured light scanner ensures measurement accuracy at the level of up to 0.05mm/50μm, allowing us to obtain precise 3D models. Once the model is obtained, we import it into CAD software where we perform adjustments and carry out measurements of complex geometries that are difficult to measure with manual tools. Among other things, this allows us to create a component that perfectly matches the scanned object. Based on the scan, we can prepare a 3D printable model, reconstruct missing parts, and employ reverse engineering techniques to create an equivalent or precisely fitting design element.
